I went through the whole game with the Pro Controller on the TV, which probably made things easier for myself. Playing with pikemes in the mobile version is probably also a lot of fun, but personally I definitely prefer playing on the big screen.
The creators also decided to introduce help in the game. After pressing the D-pad up, we will not only get a hint what we should do, but even a path leading us to the goal will be displayed. The function will probably be useful in several places, but I personally turned it off in the menu, which I recommend to anyone who does not like being led by the hand.
Special badges have been prepared for trophy fans, which we discover as we progress in the story and on many other occasions when we do something extraordinary. This is a good idea that will surely appeal to people who like challenges and want to be sure that they have completed all missions in one hundred percent. Certainly, the badges are motivating, so it is possible that you want to spend a little more than these twenty hours with the game (because it took me so long to finish it).
The perfect balance between the joy of exploring a new environment and a tactical approach to the game – boss fights, although not too demanding, are quite varied and often even very ingenious. However, it also happens that the game breaks down in a not very pleasant way for some reason. It happened to me in one of the quite early missions. Well, in a certain location it was necessary to divide the forces and send a reconnaissance to rebuild a ceramic bridge, necessary for the rest of the “army” to cross the river. By the way, on the way, I found some fruit, slaughtered local animals and ordered some of the pickets to be taken to the rocket as raw materials. The only way back turned out to be the one that required the construction of the bridge. So the Pikmines dumped the carcass and fruit near it and set about taking some pottery to rebuild it. They endured, endured and endured, but they could not climb the bridge itself and mount the collected fragments on it, because they blocked on previously abandoned cargo. This could not be moved in any way, for the poor colored creatures sent to be worn stood in the laden place as if enchanted. The drama ended with a level reset and the fun started again here, performing the activities in a different order.
