Project Cars 3 Review

Version 3 has arrived with ... simcade.

Multiplayer:

We also have different online modes, from fast races that last a few minutes, to carefully detailed events, in certain aspects of course. This is the case of scheduled events, where every hour we will have X events, where they try to simulate a real race in a certain way; since we have sections such as classification and the best lap. While we wait for the event to begin, we can choose a car, touch it up and take a few laps around the circuit and know its complexity, so that when we race we are better prepared; In this way we will also qualify and know our position with respect to the rest of the players participating in the event.

Presentation:

We have a correct graphic section, trying to give the best of the current generation and getting a pretty good appearance, although it is true that on some occasions we can find a visual bug; They are usually quite specific, but annoying at the moment. Without being a graphic marvel, each and every one of the cars has a good finish like most of the circuits, but the surrounding scenarios are quite improvable, as well as some effects.

The loading times vary depending on the game mode we access, but generally they are “normal” times within the current generation; without getting desperate every time we want to play the wide variety of modes available. Most of the problems found can be solved in future updates, including improvements in textures and other sections, so together with a gameplay at 60 fps, we can say that we are satisfied with the result of Project Cars 3 on Xbox One.

The different sounds are quite successful in relation to their realism, however the music that accompanies us at all times except for the races we believe could be improved, due to the little prominence it generates. Like the previous installments, P roject Cars 3 is completely translated into Spanish, both in its interface and the different dialogues while driving, but yes, all the voices are completely in English, something also expected and of less importance.

Conclusion:

Project Cars 3” abandons its deeper roots from previous installments to offer us new experiences, moving closer to the arcade and abandoning pure simulation and realism . It is true that in this way it is a much more accessible game for everyone, however due to this risky bet it has undergone several changes that surely the loyal fans of the saga will not like it at all, since it becomes a simcade. Great improvements regarding its online mode that will offer us a lot of hours and will keep us hooked, but a fairly “regular” trajectory mode that should receive some changes.
