SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio will launch the Like a Dragon: Ishin! Combat Demo later today, which will be downloadable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Until March 20, Xbox and PlayStation players who subscribe to the SEGA newsletter will also receive access to two exclusive in-game weapons upon the game’s release: the Bonechewer Katana and the Waterdrop Katana.

The Combat Demo for Like a Dragon: Ishin! will let aspiring samurai explore two action-packed segments of the game. Players can face off against enemies at Kiyomizu Temple, and then go toe to toe with three armored warriors. The demo is free to download.

Players can pre-order Like a Dragon: Ishin! to receive three exclusive weapons on the PlayStation StoreXbox Store and Steam. Players can purchase the Digital Standard Edition for €59.99/£49.99/AUD 99.95 and the Digital Deluxe Edition for €69.99/£54.99/AUD 122.95. Digital Deluxe Edition pre-orders will unlock the game with early access starting tomorrow, 17 February.

Players who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game will receive:

  • Ryoma Growth Support Kit
  • Sword Upgrade Materials Kit
  • Gun Upgrade Materials Kit
  • Third Division Armament Expansion Kit
  • The Dragon of Dojima Skin
